이혜령 Hyeryung Lee


제너럴쿤스트라는 이름으로, 전문 배우가 없는 관객 참여형 퍼포먼스를 만든다.

극장 바깥에서 극장 규범을 통과하지 못한 관객들−야간 노동자, 발달장애인이나 영유아, 그들의 보호자, 돌봄노동자 등−이 갈 수 있는 곳, 할 수 있는 일, 볼 수 있는 것을 탐색하는데 관심을 가져왔다. 최근에는 거리와 광장이 모두에게 열린 공간이라는 낙관적 시선에 의해 소외되어 온 존재, 구역, 언어, 시선 등에 주목하고 있다.  
 
Under the name General Kunst, Hyeryung Lee creates audience-participatory performances without professional performers.

She has been concerned in the spectators who have not passed through the norms of theater-going: night-shift workers, the physically disabled, toddlers, children, care workers, etc. Outside the theater, she explores the places they can go and things they can do and see. Her recent interests include the beings, zones, languages, and gazes that have been neglected by the optimistic view that streets and squares are open to everyone.
